He brought a full electric guitar rig, acoustic guitars and several other instruments, planning to record an electric guitar part using an E-Bow.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eJust as Affleck was coming up the stairs, the electric rig stopped producing sound. With no time to troubleshoot, Kim grabbed the nearest acoustic guitar, plugged it directly into the preamp and played the part with the E-Bow as Affleck walked into the studio.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe unexpected combination worked.
