Margin

Sale price$625.00

Photographed near Goat Rock Beach on the Sonoma Coast, Margin looks through a break in the coastal grasses toward the Pacific. Here, the ocean emerges between the dunes beneath an expanse of open sky, a quiet boundary between one landscape and the next.

The photograph is about the spaces between things: land and water, enclosure and openness, where one landscape ends and another begins. It is often at these margins, easily passed without notice, that the view suddenly opens.

Originally created for WEST OF MORNING — Analog Landscapes of Northern California, Kim’s inaugural exhibition at fís Gallery, this Studio Edition brings the photograph into a made-to-order format for the home.

Each print is produced on Hahnemühle fine art paper, presented with a 3-inch archival white mat, and finished in a handcrafted solid wood frame made in Germany. Each Studio Edition arrives ready to hang.
